Message from Mrs. Stamer & Mr. Ontiveros

What a short week it was for our Roadrunner students, teachers and staff!

While it was a short week, students got right back to learning and teachers got right back to teaching as if the cold and snow had not disrupted.

Students were able to enjoy some time in the snow on Thursday since it was a bit warmer. Below is a picture of a fort that some of our students completed that day.

As a reminder, students are allowed to play in the snow when weather permits. It is important that they bring snow pants and snow boots in order to play in the snow. If the proper attire is not worn, they can only be on our blacktop during lunch recess.

We hope everyone continues to stay warm over the weekend!

Mrs. Stamer & Mr. Ontiveros

Multicultural Night

Save the Date! Thursday, April 18th from 6p-7:30p for Multicultural Night at Forest Road

Multicultural Night is where school families are invited to share elements of their culture or ethnicity with other members of the school community.  It will take place in the Forest Road gym, where families will have a table to display clothing, food items, pictures, maps, instruments, books- anything that they would like to display that highlights their culture or ethnicity.  As many of us get together to celebrate the holidays with our families and friends, it may be a good opportunity to gather something to share at Multicultural Night!
