Custodians ensure that buildings and grounds are operating at peak performance. They provide routine maintenance, cleaning, and general support to building leadership to ensure a safe environment for students. They work in conjunction with the Director of Buildings and Grounds to align processes and ensure buildings are kept up to date and fully functioning.

Potential Opportunities
Administrative Assistant
Secretaries perform a variety of responsible secretarial/clerical duties for the Principal(s) and other faculty staff members; to assist with the day-to-day operations of the school. In addition, they act as a liaison between the school and the community.
Custodian
Family Liaison
The role of the family liaison in D102 is to assist in tackling underachievement by working in partnership with families, parents, and pupils in a school context to enable pupils, particularly the most disadvantaged, to have full access to educational opportunities and overcome barriers to learning and participation.
Paraprofessional
A Paraprofessional educator is not required to be licensed to teach but performs many duties to support the teaching staff. Generally, Para’s assist teachers in the classrooms, supervise students outside of the classroom and provide administrative support for teaching.
Requirements: At least 19 years of age
ONE of the following:
Associate’s degree or higher (60 semester hours of coursework)
High School Diploma or GED and a score of 460 or higher on the ETS Parapro Exam
High School Diploma or GED and the following scores on the ACT WorkKeys Exam
Mathematics/Applied Math (with a score of 4)
Reading for information/Workplace Documents (with a score of 4)
*Notes: Paraprofessional licenses are valid for 5 years and can be renewed with the payment of registration fees.

School Administration
School Administrators are the instructional leaders and manage all school operations. They supervise teachers and other staff to ensure alignment of instructional practices, district endorsed curricula within a safe and productive learning environment for all students.
Special Education Teacher
These teachers provide special education services to meet the needs of students who have a range of learning, emotional, physical, and mental differences.
Teacher
Teachers create lesson plans and teach those plans to the entire class, individually to students or in small groups, track student progress and present the information to parents, create assessments, create and reinforce classroom rules, work with school administration to prepare students to meet their full potential and achieve their dreams.

Pay: $130 per day
Long-term assignments: $254.23
Retired Teachers (in or out-of-District): $140 per day PEL
Substitute Licenses: $130 per day
Paraprofessional: $15.45 hourly OR $109 per day

Intern
Under the support and guidance of mentors, D102 offers an internship in the form of student teaching, administrative job study, and health job studies. Each unique program will be personalized to each student's professional development in their desired career field.
Social Worker
School social workers address the psychological and social well-being of students. They provide information and counseling and help students, parents, and school staff work together to solve problems by communicating and providing referrals to other resources.
Nurse
The school nurse works to promote a healthy school environment. Beyond promoting health and safety for students within the school facility during the school day, they also encourage students to maintain healthy habits and behaviors when they are not in school. These nursing professionals are also responsible for identifying both actual and potential health problems, providing case management services, and collaborating with educators, school officials, students, and families to ensure students respond positively to their environment and develop normally.
Technology
The Technology team will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our district install applications and programs. The Technology Team's responsibility includes resolving network issues, configuring operating systems, and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support.
