Hello Roadrunner Families!

We are less than a day away from starting school! We are so excited to welcome our students back.
As a reminder, school hours tomorrow are 8:15-11:20am.

This newsletter should give you the information you need for the first day of school. Our main office is available today until 4pm for any questions. You can call (708) 215-6400 or email fr-office@dist102.k12.il.us.

Don't forget! Tonight is school supply drop off and teacher meet & greet. All students need to be accompanied by an adult. Please enter via door # 1.

Important Dates

August 21 - Meet the Teacher and School Supply Drop-Off! 5-6pm via Door #1

August 22 - First Day of School (8:15am-11:20am). Principal/AP and Parent Meeting, immediately following arrival (8:20am-9:00am) on the black top. We will have coffee, donuts and information from the principal, AP and PTO for the new school year

August 23 - First FULL day of school - 8:15am-3:15pm

August 29 - 1st Grade Curriculum Night (Parents Only) 6-6:30pm

September 2 - No School - Labor Day

September 3 - Picture Day

September 6 - Back to School Bash at Forest Road from 5-7pm

First Day of School - Half Day 8:15am-11:20am

Walkers: You can arrive on the blacktop at 8:05am. Teachers will be greeting students outside holding a sign with their name and grade. Please find your teacher and line up behind the yellow line. Parents must also stay behind the yellow line at drop off and pick up.

Bus Riders: Buses will be running on the first day. Please refer to the bus schedule below. Please remind your child to let their teacher know they will ride the bus home.
