Hello from Karli Stamer (Principal)...
I hope you all had a nice weekend. The end of the year is quickly approaching. Although many are looking forward to summer we need to continue focusing on our last month of school. I continue to be so proud of all the students, parents and teachers as we keep moving along with this school year. Surely one none of us will ever forget. We have had smiles and tears, but surely a lot of new learning and many memories made.
Tomorrow I will send a letter out to all 3rd through 6th grade families with the general schedule for IAR testing and a few items you need to be aware of in regards to times, lunch and materials needed. Please watch your email this week. I will be sending more information out this week with more details for arrival and dismissal and safety procedures. Your teachers will also send out more detailed information in regards to the specific grade level.

Reminders: -
Everyone must wear a mask when on school grounds.
Do not drop students off in the parking lot or in a spot where they will need to cut through the parking lot.
Follow all traffic signs.
Help us remind your children/our students to clean up after themselves when hanging out on the Forest Road playground, fields, and blacktop.

Open PTO Board Positions - Please see the PTO newsletter for open board positions for next school year. There are many openings and some of them are new positions. I encourage you to view the positions and consider joining the board. The PTO is a huge part of helping keep our school connected with the community, planning events and supporting our students and teachers.
School Supply Kits - Please see the PTO newsletter for more information on ordering school supply kits for next school year.
2021 Summer Programming Updated Flyer - Due to Grant Funds there will not be a fee for these programs. Families still need to register through Pushcoin.

Run for 102 -
Run for 102 Race to the Finish is back with an all-virtual event the week of May 9-15. Join us for a unique opportunity to style your race - make your own local or globally diverse team with classmates, friends, family members, or take the challenge on your own while supporting our D102 schools. You have the flexibility to choose a pre-measured course or create your own for your 1 mile or 5k run, walk or jog. Register at runfor102.org to have fun, keep active, promote community and maybe earn an award! Stay tuned for many fun things leading up to race week.
