I’m excited to embark on a new chapter as the assistant principal of Forest Road School for the 2024-2025 school year.  I’ve had the privilege of dedicating  my career in education to District 102, with an incredible 20+ years spent at Forest Road School.  I have held several positions within the district, including most recently the role as instructional coach.

My passion for education has led me down a rewarding path, one filled with countless opportunities for growth and learning.  As I step into this new role, I am eager to continue serving the remarkable students, staff and families that make Forest Road such a special community.  Together, I’m confident we’ll nurture an environment where every individual can thrive and succeed.  Forest Road holds a special place in my heart, and I’m grateful for the chance to contribute to its ongoing journey of excellence.

When I am not at school, you’ll often find me enjoying the simple pleasures of life - taking walks with my dog, Tilly, hanging out with my husband, cheering on my four kids at their various activities, and cherishing moments with family and friends.  I love to vacation at national parks and soak in all the beauty of nature!

As a product of District 102 myself, I’ve dedicated my professional life to this community, but also formed lasting personal connections.  I met my husband at Park Junior High and we have raised our four children in the area.  They are all products of Forest Road and Park Junior High.  With roots deeply intertwined with District 102 both professionally and personally, I couldn’t be more excited to step into the role of assistant principal and continue nurturing the incredible community that has shaped so much of who I am.

With excitement and best wishes,
Ms. Cavaliere
