Calling all hoopers!
Please join me for my Bar Mitzvah project this coming Monday, August 15th at 2:30 pm as we shoot free throws to raise money for our very own Special Olympics Basketball Team, the Park Jr. High Mighty Patriots!
For a $25 entry fee, you'll get the opportunity to shoot 30 free throws. Whoever makes the most will win a $100 gift card courtesy of our sponsor (Chris Depa Web Design). In the case of a tie, a winner will be drawn from the top scorers' names.
All proceeds will be directly donated to the Mighty Patriots. More detail on this great organization can be found at the links below.
Checks should be made out to District 102 with a memo saying "Mighty Patriots account." Any other monetary donations will also be kindly accepted.
We have the gym secured at Park Jr. High on Monday, August 15th from 2:30 to 5 pm. Check-ins for participation will only be accepted until 4 pm. All are welcome to stay and await the final results, but we will also announce the winner once all shots are taken and "makes" are tallied. All ages are welcome. Refreshments will be provided.
