We are egg-cited to invite all D102 families to STEM EXPO 2024 on March 2nd from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at Forest Road School. EXPO will showcase the hard work and creativity of our students as they present their STEM projects. You are also invited to the Open House on March 2nd from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm at the Science Center. You will engage in some egg-speriments and egg-splorations, as well as visit our animal center.

Our annual STEM EXPO will be held on March 2nd, 2024. This event is a fantastic opportunity for K - 6 students to showcase their creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills through science, technology, and engineering projects. Start thinking about your projects and explore various areas of interest. Whether it's experiments, explorations, prototypes, or coding software, the possibilities are endless. The STEM EXPO is a chance to delve into your passions and discover the wonders of STEM. Further details and guidelines will be provided in the new year to help you prepare. Parents, please support your children in brainstorming ideas and planning their projects. This is a wonderful chance for students to engage in hands-on learning and develop critical thinking skills. Mark your calendars for March 2nd and get ready for an egg-citing day filled with fun, learning, and inspiration!

#d102studentspotlight Days at the Science Center are always filled with exciting STEM projects, learning, and interacting with the center's friendly animals. This week, Forest Road students created functioning windmills, and learned about the upcoming eclipse.

March 4, was the Annual STEM Expo! The theme this year was Forensic Science, with over 90 projects by K - 6th grade student scientists. Projects ranged from simple to complex but each student was able to present what they learned and their experiment.
